Be Alert! Call the Police!

Crime Watch!
The police can't do it alone! Be Alert & Call the police if you see something suspicious! If you observe any of the suspicious activities below or anything else you believe to be a crime, please call 911. When you call 911 please provide as much of the following information as you can:

-Vehicle description
-Color, Make, Model, Year
-Anything unusual
-Vehicle License plate number
-Is the vehicle parked or moving
-Time and direction suspected left
-Details and additional circumstances
-What happened?
-Time and place it occurred
-Was anyone injured?
Suspect (s) description:
-Sex
-Race
-Gender

Suspicious Activities/Possible Crimes:

Activity: If a person (s) goes door to door in a residential area especially during hours that people are not normally at home.
Possible Crime: Robbery or break-in

Activity: If someone is waiting or loitering in front of a business or residence especially if the business is closed or if the residence is unoccupied.
Possible Crime: Robbery or break-in

Activity: Vehicles traveling in a slow or in a roaming pattern and/or with their lights off at night. This is suspicious anywhere but especially if this is occurring in residential, school or playground area.
Possible Crime: Robbery, narcotics seller, sexual predator

Activity: A lot of people coming to and from a certain residence if it occurs daily or regularly. Possible Crime: A house of prostitution, narcotics seller or a seller of stolen property

Activity: People that offer to sell you merchandise at a very low price. Property is suspicious if there is a large quantity or if the items seem in good condition but have never been used. Possible Crime: Intends to sell stolen property. If a vehicle is abandoned in your block or in your neighborhood- Possible stolen vehicle.

Activity: A Vehicle that is occupied and parked in your neighborhood for a length of time especially during hours that people are not normally at home.
Possible Crime: Watching the residence for a later robbery or break-in.

Activity: A person throwing objects out of a moving car, especially if the object is wrapped.
Possible Crime: Trying to get rid of evidence to a crime

Activity: A person that loiters around a parked car or goes from parked car to parked car, looking inside, especially if the car is parked on the street.
Possible Crime: Possibly trying to steal the car or items from inside the car.
