Two women were walking along Albemarle Road- near Central Avenue, around 1:00 this afternoon-when a man approached them and shot one of the women three times. The second woman escaped the scene uninjured and the suspect sped away westbound on Albemarle Road.
The victim was taken to Carolinas Medical Center. Her condition was not released. Source: News 14 Carolina
