Matthews, NC police say they have been encouraging citizens to start active community watches, especially in apartment complexes. Recently, there were a few break-ins at the Vinings Apartments. When one neighbor saw two men breaking into a car- that neighbor immediately called police. Officers spotted the men as they came out of the complex.
Police arrested Alexander Jaulin (L) and Francois Hope (R) . Both men were charged with larceny and breaking and entering into a motor vehicle.I applaud the citizen who called 911 to alert police to the problem! Source: WBTV
