Earlier tonight, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police and the Charlotte Fire Department responded to a vacant house fire on the 5600 block of Nevin Road. Four subjects were inside the vacant house- set the fire and then fled into the woods behind the house. Police searched the neighborhood and called in the K-9 unit to track the subjects but they were unsuccessful. The Charlotte Fire Department has ruled the fire as arson.
