Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are on the scene tonight of a deadly accident involving three robbery suspects. One man is dead and two others are on the loose in west Charlotte.The suspects were involved in a robbery of the EB Games store on South Boulevard. The robbery happened shortly after 8 pm when three black men came inside and robbed the business and took a Chevrolet Trailblazer.
The Trailblazer was tracked by On-Star and nearly two hours later police were following the car on Tuckaseegee Road. As police began to follow the vehicle the suspect vehicle- the suspects took off and crashed the SUV on Toddville Road. One of the suspects, Thomas Christopher Brooks II, (R) died at the scene. Police are using K-9's and the CMPD helicopter to search for the remaining two suspects.
