South Charlotte Bank Robbery

A lone bank robbery suspect entered and robbed the Bank of America located at 13805 Conlan Circle at approximately 9:30 am this morning. This is near Ballantyne Resort in South Charlotte.

The suspect is described as a white male, mid-40's, between 5'11" - 6'1." He is approximately 180 lbs with a thin build. (Click photos to enlarge)

According to witness statements, the suspect presented the teller with a computer printed note demanding money and alleged to have a weapon. The FBI's Safe Streets Task Force investigators are releasing the attached still images from the bank surveillance tapes to help further identify the suspect.

Although physical descriptions are hard to see, clothing items are clearly identifiable and might lead someone to recognize the suspects. The FBI's Safe Streets Task Force, comprised of agents, officers and detectives from Charlotte- Mecklenburg Police Department, Mecklenburg County Sheriffs Office and the North Carolina Probation and Parole, and other law enforcement agencies are still investigating.
