A 17-year old teen was beat up in a locker room at E.E. Waddell High School by his fellow gang members or his so-called friends. What happened is known as a beat-down, jump in, or beat in. For some crazy reason, this violent behavior is done to gain respect from gang members during the initiation process or is done when gang members try and leave a gang.The incident that occurred at Waddell High School included 14 gang members -vs- one teen and the beating was videotaped for bragging rights and shared on the Internet via Youtube. The sad part in all this is the teen who got beat up, wanted it. Source: WBTV
