Yesterday afternoon, a shootout between two vehicles led to a four car accident at the intersection of S. Tryon Street and Arrowood Road.Police say the exchange of gunfire occurred while the two cars were driving down the road around 2:12 pm. The shootout caused such a commotion on the road, four cars crashed at the intersection. The vehicles involved in the shooting fled the scene- one of which was a gold colored Cadillac.
No one was injured as a result of the shooting but MEDIC treated several people for minor injuries as a result of the crash.
