Police say David Lee Ward, 42, is responsible for setting a fire that destroyed Perkinson Company, a business located on East Peterson Drive. Ward is a former employee.David Ward was arrested with the help of vigilant neighbors who spotted Ward prior to the fire in front of the business. The neighbors sensed suspicious activity and wrote down his license plate number.
Ward is charged with malicious use of an explosive device to damage property, burning of uninhabited buildings and larceny by employee.
