Shortly after 11:30 am, the State Employee's Credit Union (SECU) on Airport Center Pkwy, was robbed at gunpoint by a black male suspect. (Shown R)During the robbery, the suspect shot a female bank employee. Police say she suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect is described as having a dark complexion, skinny, about 6' tall and in his mid 20's.
Witnesses say a black man with dread locks was driving a blue Honda and both men took off in that car. Investigators recovered the Honda a short time later on Helena Street. The K-9 unit searched the area but were unable to capture the suspects.
