The May 2010 primary will determine the Democratic and Republican nominees for state legislative and countywide offices. One important race in Charlotte is to determine who will replace the 36-year Mecklenburg County District Attorney, Peter Gilchrist.
The Democratic nominee is Michael Barnes and the Republican nominee is Andrew Murray.

Join in for a town hall style conversation with Andrew Murray and his opponent, Michael Barnes. Attendees will have an opportunity to meet the candidates and ask about the criminal justice system and how they plan on making Charlotte a safer community!
