On Sunday, June 7th at approximately 3:30 am, CMPD Westover Division Officers responded to an armed robbery call at the Motel 6 located at 3430 St. Vardell Lane.The 21-year old female victim stated that she met two men and arranged to have sex with them in exchange for money. Once the arrangement had been completed, the suspects robbed and assaulted the woman repeatedly with a taser.
CMPD Officers were able to obtain information concerning the two suspects whereabouts and they responded to the Arlington Suites, located at 44126 S. Tryon Street. Officers located Norman Hutchinson and Ivan Moore inside a motel room and the victim positively identified the duo as the suspects who assaulted and robbed her.Westover Division officers with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department arrested Norman Hutchinson and Ivan Moore and charged them both with robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon.
