On November 22nd, The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, Charlotte Fire Department and the U.S. Marine Corps kicked off the 2011 'Toys for Tots' campaign to help bring Christmas to the underprivileged in Mecklenburg County.* During this campaign the community is encouraged to bring new toys to any Charlotte Fire Station. These items will be collected as part of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Explorers Christmas Project. *
The CMPD, CFD and USMC have worked together for more than thirty years to ensure the neediest children in our community have toys to open on Christmas Day! Thank you CMPD, CFD & USMC.
