Sports Bar Robbed in Pineville

3 armed robbers stormed into a sports bar filled with customers around 10:30pm Tuesday. The entire crime was caught on

tape. The surveillance video shows a masked man pointing his gun at a customer inside the Sportscaster Bar and Grill, which is located on North Polk Street in Pineville, NC. He and two other masked robbers were involved in the robbery.

While the thieves were taking cash from the register, someone told them to, "Get out and leave us alone." Then one of the masked men fired a shot into the ceiling and the tape shows dust falling from the area that was hit. The whole crime lasted less than two minutes.

Police said robberies are up in Pineville, but this specific case doesn't appear to be related to any others. Investigators are now trying to figure out why the business was targeted. Police hope someone will recognize the people in the surveillance tape and lead them to the robbers.
