Around 3 am this morning, robbers struck another drive-through in Charlotte. According to police, three men robbed the Jack in the Box restaurant on the 2500 block of Park Road in South Charlotte. Two of the suspects entered the business by climbing into the drive-through window. They say the robbers were armed and after stealing money from the restaurant, they got away in a four-door black sedan driven by a third man.
A series of similar robberies occurred in the Charlotte area during the summer, although there had been no drive-through cases for several weeks. Those robberies took place on the northwest and southwest sections of the city. No injuries were reported among the employees in the overnight incident. Source: The Charlotte Observer
