Curtis Miller- one of CMPD's 10 Most Wanted Fugitives is behind bars today! A tip from America's Most Wanted to authorities in New York led to Miller's arrest. Miller of Charlotte was taken into custody by the Gang Task Force in Queens, New York. Curtis Terrell Miller had been on the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s 10 Most Wanted list since November of 2004. The 22-year-old is a suspect in the murder of Derrick Thornton. Thornton was killed at an east Charlotte apartment complex in August of 2004. Miller is awaiting extradition back to Charlotte, NC. Miller was also seen on America's Most Wanted.
