On Friday, around 2:00 pm, CMPD attempted to stop a man driving a stolen vehicle on the interstate. The driver refused to stop and led police on a short chase to LaSalle St where he crashed the car into a home, causing significant damage. Photographer Jonathan Jones was on the scene and shared these photos he took of the crash. He advised the police were able to apprehend the suspect after the accident.
