Man Arrested for Impersonating an ALE Agent

Neil Isaac Triplett, 29, was arrested Thursday for impersonating a North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement (ALE) agent. He was arrested at the On the Roxx Bar in Cornelius.

ALE agents say Triplett had a stolen badge and frequented bars in Charlotte, Huntersville and Cornelius. The badge he used for the past year and a half got him into bars for free and he used it to try and pick up women.

In fact, Triplett wasn't even using an ALE badge but a Burke County Sheriff's Office badge. He was released after posting a $500 bond.
