Last night, CMPD police officers responded to a call of one person shot in the parking lot of 6140 Elgywood Lane. The shooting victim- Luis Eduardo Ruiz-Garcia, 31, was pronounced deceased at the scene.Police have identified two murder suspects. The first suspect is Calvin Phillip Houston, 24. He was shot during the incident and is in critical condition with life threatening injuries at CMC. If he recovers from his injuries, a murder warrant is on file for his arrest.
The second murder suspect is named Ronnie Bernard Durham, Jr., 32. (Photo Right) Durham was arrested early this morning and charged with Murder. He is currently being held in the Mecklenburg County Jail without bond.
