On November 13, 2005, three men robbed the Petro Express located at 7208 E. Independence Boulevard. The suspects entered the convenience store armed with guns and forced the clerk to open the safe.CMPD officers arrived at the scene when the robbery was still in progress and apprehend the three suspects. No injuries occurred during the robbery attempt.
