Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police have arrested Marcus Brandon Witherspoon, 26, for the February 9th murder of Tasia Boler. Police say interviews with friends, family and neighbors as well as physical evidence helped CMPD Homicide detectives tie Witherspoon to the crime.SWAT officers executed the arrest warrant this afternoon and took Witherspoon into custody without incident. CMPD officers took precautions at nearby Lincoln Heights Elementary by making sure the children stayed inside for approximately 30 minutes while the warrant was being served.
