Saturday Night Shootings

Bullets were flying all over Charlotte, NC on Saturday night. One man was killed and two women were injured in the three separate shootings that occurred within three hours.

The first shooting occurred around 11:30 pm on Wisteria Drive. A 29 year old man was found dead in his apartment of a gunshot wound.

The second shooting occurred Sunday morning around 1:00 am. A group of people were shooting at each other in the parking lot of a shopping center on Albemarle Rd. Two stores and a church were hit by gunfire by the suspects when they shot at each other in the parking lot. The shooters ran into an alley and continued to shoot at each other. An innocent bystander was in her bedroom of her apartment on Reddman Rd when she was hit by a stray bullet. The victim was transported to the hospital and she is expected to be okay.

The third shooting occurred at the V Lounge on West 4th Street. A fight started inside the club between two groups of men around 2am. Police say the men went outside and starting shooting at each other. A stray bullet entered the building and it hit a woman in the leg. The woman was transported to the hospital.
