Charlene Jenkins, 43, was arrested this morning on Newland Road after she burned a man by kicking over a container of kerosene during a domestic disturbance.Police say the victim suffered serious burns to his lower body. He is recovering in a burn center.
Jenkins is charged with first degree arson, malicious use of an explosive device and assault with a deadly weapon with the intent to kill. She is being held in the Mecklenburg County Jail without bond.
