A 21-year-old man was arrested Thursday in connection with the Tuesday armed robbery and shooting of the AHDI Mart in west Charlotte. Dennis Vasquez, 21, was one of three armed suspects who robbed the AHDI Mart on Beatties Ford Road on Tuesday night.
Store employee Warren Howard was shot and seriously injured following an altercation with the suspects. Police say they plan to make more arrests in the case.
