Police say Wanda Janette Johnson was last seen Friday night near the 5600 block of East Independence Boulevard.Johnson's family says she called them Friday night, saying she was on Idewild Road. She told them she was hurt and needed help. Charlotte Mecklenburg Police and the Charlotte Fire Department searched the area by ground and air, but they were unable to locate her.
Police say Johnson drives a 4-door gold Saturn with North Carolina license tag TZZ-925. If you have any information regarding the investigation, you are asked to call 911.
