Police found the city's 31st homicide victim lying in a street in the SouthEnd early Saturday. Officers were called to the 1700 block of Camden Road around 2:30 am where they found Jeffie Levon Adams, 48, unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police believe the man was killed, but it appears he was not shot.Homicide detectives continue to investigate. Police ask anyone with information to contact CrimeStoppers at (704) 334-1600.
