19-year old Morgan rode his bike to the Cricket store and according to a WCNC report, the Cricket employee told police she was suspicious as soon as the suspect walked in the door. He seemed to be casing the store. She e-mailed employees at another store and told them that she was scared. When the suspect pulled a gun, she e-mailed again "has gun, send police."

Next door to the Cricket store, a used car lot was in the suspect’s path. “He ran across our parking lot and the police was running after him,” witness Darryl Jackson said. The suspect tossed his weapon as officers chased him on foot, he was caught a short while later, police said.
Officers did not return fire on the suspect, according to a police media release. “Luck was with us today." Capt. Michelle Hummel of CMPD said. Other than scrapes and bruises from chasing the suspect down, nobody was injured. Morgan is now charged with armed robbery and three counts of attempted murder. Sources: 6NEWS, WSOC-TV
