Charlotte has been hit with a rash of robberies lately. Most of these robberies have been violent and the victims have sustained injuries. Overnight, another robbery, including a shooting occurred in Charlotte:The shooting happened on Wilkinson Boulevard near Old Steele Creek Road around 2 am. A man and woman say they were both shot in the legs during an attempted robbery by two men.
The woman was shot several times. Police say her injuries appear to be life-threatening. The man is expected to recover. Officers do not have a detailed description of the two men.
