Restaurant Robbery

Two gunmen struck a busy south Charlotte restaurant overnight, robbing the restaurant while patrons were inside. There are reports that the victims included workers who had been repairing power lines damaged in Saturday night’s severe storms.

The robbery happened around 3:45am at the Skyland Restaurant, in the 4500 block of South Boulevard. Police say two suspects entered the restaurant and robbed the restaurant at gunpoint.

About 20 customers were in the place at the time, and several of them were among the robbery victims. Reporters at the scene said they were told that the patrons included several utility repair crew members. No injuries were reported. Source:
