Two UNC Charlotte students who tried to calm down a situation during a party were pistol-whipped on Saturday night. The assault happened in the University Park Terrace condo community. Many students live there because of its close proximity to campus.One victim told us he was enjoying Saturday night with his roommates when a party above them got out of control. When the students went upstairs to ask those at the party to stop throwing things over the balcony, someone pulled out a gun.
The two roommates from below were threatened, then pistol-whipped. They told Eyewitness News Tuesday night that if a similar situation happens again, they will call police. Source: WSOC-TV
