Two men were sent to the hospital following a shooting at a Northeast Charlotte nightclub. It happened around 2 a.m. on Saturday morning outside the Kalipzo Club on North Tryon Street.
The two men were outside when someone fired shots from a car. Both men were hit as the car sped away. Both were taken to Carolinas Medical Center. Their injuries are not thought to be life threatening. Police believe the shooting was the result of an argument inside the club.
This is not the first time a shooting happened at the Kalipzo Club. In early August, police arrested a man after he fired shots at club bouncers from his car. No one was hurt in that shooting. And not even a week later, shots rang out again! This time a man showed up at a police substation on Sharon Amity Road and said he had been shot at the club. Source: WSOC-TV
