Stallings Police Department is investigating a second murder that occurred last night. Leon Alsobrooks was gunned down just inches away from his two-year-old cousin.

Police say Leon Alsobrooks was sitting in the backseat of a car on Springhill Road when a gunman ran up and shot him more than once. Alsobrooks' cousin was strapped in her car seat right next to him when it happened. The shooter or shooters are still on the loose.

This is the second murder in Stallings in less than two weeks. Just to put this in perspective, the Stallings Police Department is just two years old, and these are the only two murders it's investigated. - WSOC-TV
