Shots Fired & 3 Arrested

A gunman opened fire on a woman trying to escape into her home in northeast Charlotte around 11:15 pm on Monday night. The victim said she believes the shooter and two other men followed her home. Police said the men tried to get into the woman's garage as she was closing the door on Towton Court near the intersection of Mallard Creek and Mallard Creek Church roads.

As the woman retreated into the house, one of the men started shooting. No one at the residence was injured, but a bullet did ricochet and hit the shooter, officers said. That man was shot in the foot and not seriously injured. Authorities apprehended Khieng Chea (Top Right) and Sokha Muy (Left) shortly after the shooting.

They have also issued a warrant for the arrest of Kareem Jahmal Martin (Bottom Right), who is still in the hospital. Police were at the home investigating. They said they are looking at evidence, including bullet casings, scattered across the front yard and the driveway. Source: WSOC-TV
