A man was shot around 11:30 this morning in the parking lot of 'The Cell Block' on Shamrock Drive. Police believe the shooting was a result of an attempted armed robbery.Police said two men drove to the club separately and parked their cars in the parking lot of The Cell Block. Police believe the two men were meeting to talk about the house that is for sale across the street.
The men were in the parking lot when they were approached by two men with hoods over their heads in a robbery attempt. Multiple shots were fired and one of the men- who is in his 60's, was transported to the hospital with a gunshot wound to his hand and chest. The second robbery victim was not injured.The suspects fled the scene in a vehicle but police have not released any description of the subjects.
