The mother came to the school with three other adults and walked right past the office where you are supposed to sign-in. She and her entourage went directly to the child's classroom and started to assault a 16 year old kid. The CMS resource officer quickly broke up the fight and additional CMPD units were called to the school to assist.
Police say 46 year old mother Inez Horne, (R) two of her daughters (Marquitta Lyvette McNair, Age 19 and Keisha LeTay Horne, Age 29) a daughter's boyfriend (Antwan Buchanon, Age 20) and her 15 year old son were arrested at the school.The mother and the man involved were charged with trespassing. The two daughters were charged with trespassing, assault and having weapons on school property (box cutter & knife). The woman's son, who is 15 and a an East Mecklenburg student, was also charged with assault. The student who was attacked had minor injuries and is expected to fully recover. * View Mugshots *
