Three reported armed robberies have occurred in the past four days at the Cross Creek Apartments, located off Independence Blvd, between Sardis Rd N & Village Lake Rd.On Saturday, Dec 2nd, police reported an armed robbery occurred on the 2700 block of Cross Point Circle. The victim reported that he opened his door to 2 black male teens brandishing a black handgun. Suspects robbed victim and his roommate of their wallets and keys to their vehicles. The suspects fled on foot.
Yesterday, two more armed robberies occurred on the 2300 block of Cross Point Circle. During the first robbery, the victim was robbed of his cell phone at gunpoint by 2 black male's who fled the scene on foot. During the second robbery- the victims were robbed at gunpoint by 2 black males who fled the scene on foot.
Less than a month ago, on November 15, 2006, a Chinese restaurant delivery man was robbed at gunpoint by 2 black male teens on Cross Point Circle. One of the teens had a rifle. The suspects left in a beige Toyota van.
An acquaintance of mine lived in the Cross Creek Apartments until October when her door was kicked in when she was at work. The burglars ransacked her apartment and took her jewelry and a few small items. It looks like the Cross Creek Apartment complex has some serious crime issues!
