CMPD arrested a South Carolina man who kidnapped a four year old boy from Mississippi. Authorities say the man, 49 year old Joseph Lewis Joiner, Jr. was arrested Friday. The child was not harmed. Police say Joiner may be the child's father- but his name is not on his birth certificate. The boy's mother told police the two have no relationship.Joiner is accused of taking the child from a home in Pearl River County, Mississippi. His car was spotted by police on Interstate 77. Investigators said Joiner has family contacts in Charlotte, NC and in Clover, SC.
