CMPD Homicide Detectives are busy investigating three different murders that have occurred in Charlotte in the past three days. The latest homicide occurred last night at the Birchcroft Apartments, located off Central Avenue.Police say they received a call around 9 pm from the victim's roommate, who came home and discovered his 28-year old roommate, Arturo Perez Ibarra, (R) dead inside the apartment. At this time, police are not releasing any details about how the victim was killed.
Ibarra's truck is missing and police are asking for help in locating it. The truck is described as a red 1999 Ford F-150, with NC license tags WPE-6596. The truck has a large water tank in the back but police say the tank may have been removed.
