As of 7:00 this morning, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police reported three different robberies that occurred overnight in Charlotte, NC.The first robbery occurred shortly after midnight at the Circle K, located at 7905 South Boulevard. Police say a black man in his early thirties robbed the store at gunpoint and fled on foot.
The second robbery occurred around 1:00am at the Double Oaks Apartments, located at 2208 Double Oaks Road. The victim was outside the apartments when two black men armed with guns exited a green four door Pontiac GrandAm and approached the victim. The victim attempted to flee and the robbers fired several shots at him. The victim was shot in the foot but is expected to be okay.
The third reported robbery occurred shortly before 6:00 this morning at 2004 Beatties Ford Rd. Police say two black males in a small yellow car robbed the victim at knife point. The victim was not injured during the robbery.
