Pedophile Sentenced to 15 Years in Prison

On Monday, John Wesley Fail, 40, was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison for his involvement in the production of child pornography. In addition, Fail was sentenced to a life term of supervised release and he will have to register as a sexual offender when he is released from prison.

Fail was indicted in December of 2005. He was charged with several counts of producing child pornography and possession of videos and photos depicting children in a sexually explicit manner.

John Fail entered into a plea agreement in July of 2006. He pled guilty to one count of producing child pornography, which carries a sentence of 15-30 years in prison. He received the minimum. One good thing is that federal sentences are served without the possibility of parole- so he will be in prison for a while!
