Please come to the city council meeting tonight to help our police officers and firefighters get a pay raise this year! If you wish to speak during the public hearing, please contact the City Clerk's office at 704-336-2248 to sign up.
If you can't make it to the meeting, please e-mail or call city council members and let them how you feel. The police need our help! For nine years the city council hasn't approved a pay raise for our veteran officers. It is about time they did!
The city council meeting will be held at 7:00pm in the Meeting Chamber of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center, located at 600 E. 4th St. See you there!
