CMPD's HITS Unit conducted a DWI checkpoint on Thursday night that began at 11:00pm and ended at 2:30am. The checkpoint was conducted on North Tryon Street at Dalton Avenue. It netted the following arrests and citations:
- 7 DWI's
- 4 Driving After License Revoked
- 3 Open Containers
- 4 Drug Violations
- 1 Littering Citation
- 1 Warrant
- 20 No Operator’s License
- 66 Other Charges
