On Friday night, CMPD Officers responded to Double Oaks Apartments, located on Statesville Ave., after they received a report of a person shot during a robbery attempt.The victim was found in critical condition and Medic transported him to CMC, where he later died. Police are not releasing the victim's name until the family can be located and notified.
