CMPD detectives are investigating 12 different armed robberies that occurred overnight in Charlotte, NC. This morning, police released information on five of the twelve robberies:12:25 am @ 2610 West Sugar Creek Rd
Police were called to CMC University after a victim of an armed robbery showed up there. The two victims said they were robbed at the Wachovia Bank's ATM machine by two black males. One of two victims sustained minor injuries.
1:05 am @ 6006 Dove Tree Lane
A man was robbed at gunpoint by a Hispanic male. The victim was hit in the head by the suspect's gun, however, he only sustained minor injuries.
1:10 am @ 5212 Sunset Road
A woman was robbed of her green Dodge Charger by a black male suspect. NC Tag #: VZN-3151. The women did not sustain any injures during the robbery.
1:30 am @ 605 Farmhurst Drive
Victim was robbed at gunpoint of his 1999 green Cadillac DeVille by three black males. NC Tag #: PTH-9978. The victim was hit in the eye by one of the suspects and sustained minor injuries.
3:01 am @ 2100 South Tryon St
Victim reported he was robbed of a red Chevy Impala rental car by two black males. No additional information was provided on this incident.
Police say they do not think any of the robberies are related.
