Last night, CMPD Officers responded to the 5800 block of Eastbrook Road after they received a report of a person shot. Police located 24-year old Michael Travis White, (R) suffering from serious gunshot wounds. White was transported to CMC and he died earlier today.Police say the investigation revealed that Michael White walked into the residence armed with a handgun. The occupants of the house struggled with White and he was shot. The occupants of the house did not know White.
This case will be presented to the District Attorney's Office for review to see if any charges should be filed.
