The Truliant Federal Credit Union located at 9524 Monroe Road, was robbed this afternoon around 1:08pm. Police say a man armed with a handgun entered the bank and obtained an undisclosed amount of money from the teller. The suspect fled the area in a white Honda with North Carolina license plates.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’6” to 5’9” in height, late 20’s to early 30’s in age, and weighing approximately 150 to 160 pounds. At the time of the robbery, the suspect was dressed in dark clothing.
