On Monday night, Christopher Shropshire, 21, was shot and killed on the 2500 block of Longleaf Drive. Police say neighbors called 911 after hearing several gunshots in the area.Police arrived and found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene. Witnesses say they saw two black males leaving the scene in a black, newer model Chevy Impala.
Today, police arrested one of the suspects, Devarice Washington, 23. (Photo R) Washington is a career criminal with an arrest record dating back to 2001.
