On Monday morning, the Wachovia Bank located at
6228 Idlewild Road was robbed by a lone male armed with a semi-automatic pistol. The suspect entered the bank and ordered the bank’s customers and employees to the floor. The suspect then went to three of the teller windows and demanded money. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled the area on foot.
The suspect was described as a black male, approximately 5’5” – 5’7” in height, medium build, and 35–40 years of age. At the time of the robbery, the suspect was wearing a black ski mask, black sunglasses, a black shirt, black pants, and black gloves.
