At 10:54 am, The First Citizens Bank, located at 3130 Milton Road was robbed by a lone black male. (Shown in photo) The FBI said the suspect entered the bank and presented a teller with a bank robbery demand note.The man was given an undisclosed amount of money, including a dye pack, subsequently fled the bank, possibly on foot. No weapon was observed or displayed during the robbery and there were no injuries as a result of the robbery.
The suspect was described as a black male, approx. 5’8” in height, weighing approx. 140 pounds, 33 to 35 years of age and having a goatee. At the time of the robbery, the suspect was wearing a white baseball cap with a dark visor, sunglasses, an over sized short-sleeved bright red tee shirt, and blue-jean pants.
The suspect was also described as having crooked front teeth that appeared “crowded” into his mouth. Since the suspect was given a dye pack- his clothing and/or the bank robbery loot may be covered in a red dye.
