RBC Centura Bank on East Blvd Robbed

The FBI & CMPD are investigating two different bank robberies that occurred in Charlotte today. The first robbery occurred at 10:05 am at the RBC Centura Bank, located at 1000 East Boulevard.
The FBI stated a lone male entered the bank and walked directly to one of the bank tellers. He tossed a bank robbery demand note to the teller. The note indicated that the suspect was armed; however, no weapon was observed or displayed during the course of the robbery.

The robber was observed entering the front passenger side of the vehicle but the driver wasn't seen. The bank robber was described as a black male, approx. 5’10” to 11,” medium build and 29 to early 30's in age. At the time of the robbery, the suspect was wearing a tan t-shirt, black jeans, and a light colored hat. If you have any information, please call the FBI at 704-377-9200.
